We can use THVD1420 with the following circuit to realize automatic 485 transceiver

Can THVD1426 omit this circuit? How to accomplish THVD1426 auto-direction control？

    To use the THVD1426, connect the driver signal directly to the D pin. See section 8.4 of the datasheet.

    Hi Dillen,

    Yes the THVD1426 has auto-direction control - so you don't need the circuit as described above for the THVD1426.

    From Section 8.4 - highlighted text is the most important along with tables 8-1 and 8-2 which describe the functional modes of the driver and receiver.
