TCAN1167-Q1: Functional Safety Related Query (ASIL-QM)

Hello,

I have found this CAN FD SBC (TCAN1167-Q1 Automotive CAN FD System Basis Chip with LDO Output, Sleep Mode, and Watchdog datasheet) for our Design. We need to achieve ASIL C Rated product. But I get this ASIL QM rated product only from TI. 

Is there any other component available with ASIL C? (Planning to use this for Vehicle Diagnostic CAN with Wake (Standby/Sleep))

If I use this component what I need to do to achieve ASIL C in a Design?

    Hi Karthick

    The TCAN1167 device itself is not rated for the ASIL standard, however it was designed with these functional safety standards in mind. The store page for this device includes various functional safety documents that will help achieve a system-level ASIL rating. Because this rating system and its requirements vary based on the system, I am not very familiar with the process. This is likely something that you will need to consult an internal project leader for more specific information on.
