The customer’s board EVT has come back, but the re-driver has been added, the eye pattern can pass, but the jitter can’t be passed, so the next version is looking for a re-timer to improve the jitter Can TDP142 Redriver improve jitter?

Hello, Gareth,

Redrivers have a limited ability to clean up jitter. Redrivers can clean up ISI but if you have concerns of sources other than ISI causing jitter causing your eye to fail you will want to consider using a retimer.

You may consider using the DP159 as the DisplayPort retimer. Here is some documentation on that for you: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slla358/slla358.pdf.

Is there a re-timer for HW adjustment? DP159 seems to only work with i2c, thank you

The DP159 is both I2C or Pin Strap Programmable.
