Hi,

i have a problem regarding the strapping options on the DP83826E used in an Ethercat application. 

SNLA344B says in section 3.2, that an active low LED showing the state of the Link is needed, wich is correct for my XMC43 Ethercat slave controller. I want to use the strapping options to configre the PHY for Ethercat, so i will use ENHANCED mode. Following Table 3-2 (SNLA344B) i have to put a pulldown resistor on Pin 31 (LED1) to disable the Odd Nibble Detection. In ENHANCED mode, the LED polarity on Pin 31 is choosen automatically based on the strap configuration. Putting the required pulldown on Pin 31, the LED polarity is set to Active High, but the Slave Controller needs Active Low. 

Is it possible to keep the Active Low configuration on Pin 31 and disable the odd nibble detection without using SMI?
