TRS3122E: Is Figure 13 correct?

Hello,

Figure 13 shows DOUT2 (PCB1) connected to DOUT2 (PCB2), and the rest of the signals connected likewise. Isn't this a mistake, connecting two outputs together?

A 9-pin connector for RS-232 probably is DE-9, for which crossover cables (null modem cables) exist. But the pin numbers are wrong, and the ninth pin is labeled "8".

Hi Scott,

Yes it looks like a mistake on the image - it is DSUB-9 (DE-9) connector which is standard for RS-232 applications with 2TX / 2RX signals. DOUTx should connect with RINx in general.

It looks like Richard Martin reported this issue over 5 years ago, but the data sheet has not been updated.
