I want to add some short circuit protection on the PoC line.

I know that the maximum current of that trace is around 150mA, Can you suggest part number of PTC that can met those requirements?

We use DS90UB953 & 954.

Thanks for reaching out.

To add short circuit protection on the PoC line, you can look into using a high-side switch. Connecting a high side switch in series with the PoC line will allow for the PoC circuit to be disconnected from the power supply when short circuit event occurs. Hi Kenneth

I already have on my PCB footprint of PTC connected in series to the filter.

The footprint i have now is around 6x4mm.

Maybe you know some PN that can protect the ferrite beads?

Hi Itay,

We don't have any PTC part numbers to recommend for this application. If you want to investigate a solution that uses a high-side switch similar in size to the PTC footprint that is already on the board, I recommend that you start a new thread asking about a high-side switch solution that meets the requirements of your application.
