Hello,

We are using DS92LX1621 / DS92LX1622 on two seperate boards. We face serial data transmissin errors.

By changing BCC register we can increase and decrease the error.

In the datasheet it is written: "0xE0: Normal Operation Mode".

However we get bad results with E0.

Unfortunatelly there is not enough information about this register.

What does it mean? What is its unit? What is its range?

Could you please give me some more information?

I have copied the information from the link below:

1) The information we can provide on the DS92LX1622 Reg. 0x27 is limited, as this register involves specific factory design parameters. In summary, Reg 0x27[7:0] are BCC parameters that control the amount of echo cancellation. The specific value to use is based on the quality cable that will be connecting the TX/RX boards. For a high quality cable, the default value of 0x00 should be fine, but for general purpose cables, we have found through testing that a value of 0xE0 yields better performance. With that having been said, the customer is welcome to explore other values for Reg 0x27 instead of 0x00 or 0xE0, but the only values we have validated are 0x00 (high quality cables) and 0xE0 (general purpose cables).

2) There is one more register to note for the receiver: Reg 0x3F[4]. This register bit enables (if set to 0) CMLOUT P/N, which can be observed on Pins 32-33, respectively. These pins provide a useful debugging tool for monitoring the equalized differential signal if enabled.

For additional information about 0x3F functionality, please refer to the automotive-qualified equivalent of the DS92LX1622 (www.ti.com/.../ds90ub902q-q1.pdf).
