As the title describe, we are looking for the Ser-Des product for dual 2460x2460 90fps camera usage. It is better Ti can provide the recommendation. And also the tech doc about the V3LINK.

Hi Reuben,
For V3Link, we have 3 sensor devices: TSER953 (serializer), TDES954 (deserializer), and TDES960 (deserializer). The main consideration for the serializer is to make sure that it can support the CSI-2 data rate coming from the imager. The 953 supports 3.3 Gbps of video throughput (832 Mbps of data per lane for up to 4 lanes). If you have a CSI-2 interface, you would need to calculate the data rate per lane needed by the sensor (based on Hres, Vres, frame rate, data type, and overhead). Just based off of your video resolution, the TSER953 may not support your camera.
You can find an overview about V3Link here with all of the datasheets: https://www.ti.com/interface/high-speed-serdes/v3link-serdes/overview.html

Hi Cindy,
Thanks for you quick reply.
We also found the TI serializer product cannot support such high data rate camera. wondering why, cause TDES960 can support 1.6Gbps per lane, but serializer just support 800Mbps per lane.
Also, for the TSES960, the spec only clam that support 2MP sensor with 1080p 60fps. I am not sure it can support 2460x2460 90fps or not? could you help to check?
Hi Reuben,
The TDES960 supports a higher data rate per lane for its two CSI-2 output ports because it is a quad hub, so it can aggregate serialized data from up to four sensors.
It won't be able to support a sensor with that high of a resolution and frame rate since the TSER953 won't be able to support it. These devices are designed for sensors with specs such as 2MP/60fps and 4MP/30fps.

Cindy
