Hi,

Can DS90C387A be used to convert a 24 bit RGB stream @FHD, 60fps to LVDS? Can we leave the unused LVDS output channels open? Is there any recommended design technique?

Hello,

While the DS90C387 can be used to convert 24 bit RGB to LVDS, I am not sure about leaving some of the LVDS outputs unused. I can recommend the DS90C189-Q1 device that may suit your application needs based on your similar inquiry to this thread: e2e.ti.com/.../4493379
