my customer wants to know that TCAN1042HGVDQ1 support SAE J1939 standard.

(both HW and SW)

Could you check it?

If it does not support, please recommend a part which can support this standard.

Hi Chase,

The SAE standards seem primarily focused on system level capability and would not be uniquely dependant on the transceiver. CAN transceivers are typically rated to conform to the ISO 11898-2 physical layer CAN standard which may be referenced by higher-level system standard requirements.
