SN75HVD11: Difference between SN65 version

Part Number: SN75HVD11

Hello team,

Looks like the SN75HVD11DR is going to be EOL.

Is SN65HVD11DR good choice of replacement? Are there any differences between SN75 and SN65 other than temp range?

Best Regards,

Kei Kuwahara

  • Hi Kei,

There shouldn't be any major differences between the "65" and "75" versions of the device. There are some thermal impedance changes - however these are relatively minor changes that won't effect most applications - if customer is using the device in the same 0C to 70C range as the "75" version they should expect similar performance. The thermal parameters listed in the current datasheet are the correct values.

From a specification view they are pretty much identical. There could be slight differences in parameters that we don't explicitly spec - but generally if this is the case it doesn't jeopardize functionality of the application.

    Best,
