Hi,

My customer using competitor parts PI3WVR14412+PI3HDX12211,

feedback their HDMI2.1 FRL（Fixed Rate Link）test is fail, and waste many times but can't fix this issue, so now find replace solution.

Do you they can't pass HDMI2.1 FRL test because architecture issue? Does TI have similar solution can replace this application?

Thanks for reaching out.

To replace the PI3HDX12211, you can use the TMDS1204 or TDP1204. The optimized choice for an HDMI 2.1 source side application would be the TDP1204 and for a sink side HDMI 2.1 application would be the TMDS1204.

So HDMI2.0 or HMDI2.1 have 1:2 or 2:1 switch didn't impact FRL test, right?
