Sorry for the delay. There is no specific engineer covering this topic so we missed this thread.
Is there a specific datasheet where you read about any difference between operating voltage and forward voltage of LED?
In my opinion, these are two different names which point to the same thing.

Hi Anusha,
From the datasheet, I guess those LED indicators are integrated with current-limiting resistor. The forward voltage denotes the actual voltage you can apply to the internal LED. The operating voltage is the voltage you can apply to the external wires / pins of the LED indicator.
However, these are only my guesses. I recommend you consult the manufacturer of those LED indicators.
