1. Does SN65DSI85 support a compressed video (DSC) pass-thru? When I tested it, it didn't work. I think SN65DSI85 checks data type in packet header if it's 0x3E or 0x0B. Is it correct?
2. If question 1 is right, is there any method to ignore data type of packet header, e.g., hidden option or test mode? I'd like to transfer compressed images using uncompressed packet header.
or could you introduce other IC that support compressed video pass-thru, e.g., MIPI to others or eDP to others
Thanks
Hi,
DSI85 does not support DSC Compression. It only supports both non-burst and burst mode packet transmission.
Unfortunately we do not have a solution that can support DSC compression.
Thanks
