Is the wake-up pattern always detected after the SOF and Base ID or can these also be part of the WUP pattern?

    Thomas,

    Those can also be part of the WUP pattern. The transceiver does not have any intelligence that determines what part of the frame is being sent, it only responds to dominant and recessive signals, so the moment the dominant->recessive->dominant is received and detected by the low-power receiver, regardless of where it is in the CAN frame, it will wake up.
