DS90UB948-Q1: The difference of DS90UB948-Q1 3.3V power supply from other load

Part Number: DS90UB948-Q1

Hi team,

The customer use TPS73701 to power our FPDlink(948), input voltage= 5v, output voltage=3.3v,the output current=170mA. But one of their products existed issue, the output voltage of TPS73701 would drop from 3.3V to 2.4V, and  to 1.9V after suppling power for a while.

And they did test to verify the issue. For explaining this case clearly, I labeled their product which existed issue with A. So when the TPS73701(A) supplied power to FPDlink(A), the output voltage would dropped. Then they used a new device called TPS73701(B) to supply power to FPDlink(A), it worked well. And they used TPS73701(A) to supply power to normal device FPDlink(B), the voltage dropped again. But when they use a resistor(20ohm or 12ohm) as a load, TPS73701(A) giving power and the output voltage is normal.

Do you have any comments of this phenomenon? I am confused of this issue and do we have any solution or do we need other experiment to verify?

Is there anything needed to be noticed about FPDlink(948) 3.3V power supply?
