Hi, Teams!

I want to use DS10CP154A for LVDS Crosspoint Switch.

I connect a crystal oscillator with LVDS output to the LVDS input port of DS10CP154A.

In this case, do I need a coupling capacitor between the crystal oscillator and the DS10CP154A input pin?

Or is there no problem with direct connection?

Please check common mode voltage of the DS25CP104A and your oscillator. This part has a wide Vcmr and thus most probably you would be able to direct connect.

Dear Nasser,

Thank you for your answer.

I understood it depends on common mode voltage.

And I checked datasheet of DS10CP154A.

Vcmr specification is 0.05V(min), VCC-0.05V(max).

This voltage range fully includes the output offset voltage range of the oscillator.

I understand that the oscillator can be directly connected.
