TMUXHS4212: Traffic errors (RSVDx)

Hi Team,

 

We are using TMUXHS4212 at 1 of our designs and we are seeing from time-to-time traffic errors on the link, at both side we got FPGA that are working at 13.5Gbps

We also notice that when issue appears the solution for it is to toggle the SEL pin.


I have look at this component DS and saw the following :

 

While at our design is not connected

 

My question is what is the usage of those RSVD pins ? what is the affect can be if they are floating and if you see any correlation between this to the issue we see.
