Hi team,

Datasheet chapter 11 says that "The strap (SUPPLYMODE_SEL, pin 23) shall be pulled high to set triple-supply mode.". Meanwhile, chapter 7 says that pin23 is JTAG_TMS and there is no instruction of strap or SUPPLYMODE_SEL. 

  1. Is explanation of SUPPLYMODE_SEL true?
  2. If it's true, what is recommended pull-up voltage/resistor for triple-supply mode?
    Or does it have internal pull up resistor?

    Hi Mago,

    Thank you for pointing it out. We just realized there is a typo in the datasheet. DP83869 will automatically know rather it is in two supply mode or three supply mode. There is no strapping configuration required to set the PHY into two supply mode and three supply mode. DP83869 don't need any pull up resistors on pin 23 for three supply mode. We will edit the datasheet. Sorry for the confusion and again thank you for pointing it out.
