Hi Team,

May I understand if we don't place the VBIAS cap, what will happen then? Do IC still have the ESD protection function or the function will be weak?

    Hi Jaden,

    Thank you for reaching out!   

    A capacitor is required for the VBIAS pin as shown in the image below. This capacitor helps with ESD strikes and leaving it out would most likely mean that you would not be able to pass the IEC ESD strikes. Please let me know if you have additional questions.
