Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM6412, , TCA9801
Hello,
I want to use an I2C level shifter to interface AM6412 (in 1.8V I2C) to various 3.3V devices (Temp sensors and GPIO expanders) and PMBus Switching power supplies.
TCA9801 does make reference on PMBus support , whereas TCA9517A doesnt.
I understand that the PMBus support is related to a higher level protocol support and not limited to HW PHY level..so I guess both ICs can do the work...
Can you clarify ?
