TUSB321: TYPE-C and BC1.2 detection on UFP

Hello Support team,

Customer would like to develop UFP application, sink only and detect what kind of power source/adaptor is used. I think that TUSB321 can hand shake automatically and detect the power level on DFP, is my understanding correct?

Do you have reference schematic for UFP usage? Datasheet does not have it... They would like to detect USB BC1.2, too, so reference design for both TUSB321 and bq24392 is very helpful.

For UFP, just Pulldown Port pin and remove vbus switch from DRP schematic in datasheet.

UFP will detect current level what DFP delivered.

we don't have reference design for typec-c BC1.2 yet.

CURRENT_MODE: I assume that unused pin for UFP, can this pin be left open?

/VCONN_FAULT : Is this for DFP or DRP only? Can this pin be left open for UFP?

ID : Can this pin be left open for UFP only?

DIR : Is this pin needed when UFP usage? Can this pin be left open?

For UFP, olny DIR is needed, ID /CURRENT_mode/Vconn can be floating .
