TUSB9261: USB SuperSpeed pins status under USB2.0 High-speed pins are connected

Part Number: TUSB9261

Dear Team,

My customer uses the TUSB9261PVP under only USB2.0 High-speed pins are conneced. USB SuperSpeed pins, USB_SSTXP, USB_SSTXM , USB_SSRXP  and USB_SSRXM, of the TUSB9261 are not connected on their board. They would like to understand the status of those unconneceted USB SuperSpeed pins under USB2.0 High-speed operation, because they would like to confirm whether the operation of the TUSB9261 will be affected if those four pins shorted to the adjacent pins (power supply pin, or ground pin) due to mounting failure.

<Under USB2.0 High-speed operation>
 - Status of USB_SSTXP : Hi-Z?, if shorted to VSS, what happen?
 - Status of USB_SSTXM : Hi-Z?, if shorted to VDD, what happen?
 - Status of USB_SSRXP : Hi-Z?, if shorted to VDD, what happen?
 - Status of
USB_SSRXM : Hi-Z?, if shorted to VSS, what happen?

I look forward to you reply.
Thank you.

Best Regards,

Koshi Ninomiya
