Hello to TI support team ,

    I am using SN65HVD33RHL VQFN , I would like to know your recommendation for thermal pad pin #21 , is it should be connected to  GND or disconnected to any net ?

    Hi Alexander,

    Thermal pins are generally used to help dissipate heat through the GND plane on a PCB since GND is typically large and unbroken. 

    Our recommendation is to GND any thermal pins for that benefit. Thermal pads don't connect to anything electrically so you could leave it floating if you don't want to GND it.
