Hi, TI.

I have a problem that the color tone is different between the input and the output.

When using Color bar pattern in 0x3C, work good.

Is there a setting or mode to swap RGB?

Are there any other possibilities for swapping the MSB/LSB?

Hi,

Are you sending RGB666 and RGB888? Please refer to 8.4.4.4 DSI Pixel Stream Packets of the datasheet to make sure the pixel is being sent in the right sequence.

Hi,

Color tone problem has cleared.
It is RGB888. I was expecting Bit[7:0], but somewhere it got swapped to Bit[1:0][7:2] unintentionall.I solved it by matching the input data.

And one more question.

A misalignment has occurred.
(It was happening at the same time as the color problem, but I had deprioritized it.)

The input 800x480 image data is output, but it is shifted by 160 pixels.
Please refer to the attached image.

When outputting a color bar in 0x3C, the alignment will be fine.

What's going on?
It seems that the top position is only shifted,
Is it possible to fix it with a register setting?

Hi,

Did you program the DSI86 registers correctly to match the panel requirement? Please use the spreadsheet in this link to generate the DSI86 register programming value, https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/945404/faq-sn65dsi86-how-do-i-programming-the-sn65dsi86-registers. I am suspecting the horizontal blanking is not being programmed correctly.

There was input pixel data from another device was incorrect.
So, SN65DSI86 is fine.
