Dear Team,
What is the maximum resistance of the int pin pull up of tca6416a?
I want to use it in the battery project, but I found that if his int pin uses the suggested line of 10K, the leakage current will be too large. Can I use 470K?
Many Thanks,
Jimmy
The leakage current of the INT pin is not specified, but probably the same as that of other pins, i.e., 0.1 µA. So assuming a voltage drop of 0.1 V, the maximum resistance would be 1 MΩ.
Hi Jimmy,
We do not directly spec this on the device, but you can estimate based off of Clemens' response. 470k should be ok. It is best to take oscilloscope captures on INT with 470k just to be sure that rise/fall times look ok.
Regards,
Tyler
