DS90UB948-Q1: 0x20 bit 6&2

Part Number: DS90UB948-Q1

hi team,

Here are the snapshot shared by customer on 948 0x20 register description, while in 948 latest datasheet, bit6&2 are reserved.

To enable the output function of gpio6&5, do we need to set bit6 or bit2? my understanding as gpio6&5 only support register control, bit6&2's value doesn't really matter as it doesn't support gpio pass through.

  • Hello Dongbao,

Do you mean you want to enable the GPIOs to output a fixed value, 0 or 1? If that is the case then you just need to set bits [5:4] for GPIO6, and bits [5:4] for GPIO5 to 01, and then set bits 7 and 3 to 0 or 1 for the output value. Bits 2 and 6 need to stay as default = 0.

Please refer to d/s Table 7-4.
