Hi team,

Is there any side effect if I set SW_EN = 1 and stay either Standby, Listen, Normal state?

    Hi Tsuji-san,

    When partial networking is enabled (SW_EN = 1) in any mode, the transceiver will begin to monitor the CAN bus for a WUF. The main undesired impact of this is if a frame overflow would occur during this time and set the FRAME_OVF flag. If this flag is not cleared before entering Sleep mode, the partial networking function will not work correctly. Therefore in order to avoid this, I recommend only setting SW_EN at the same time as the transceiver is being put into Sleep mode (both done in the same write to the mode control register).
