good Morning, I use TPD6S300ARUKR component. I went to passed in lab 5 days ago and I have a non-compliance on ESD into 4KV contact. The default occurs on Shield USB-C connector at the first pulse ?

the PCB has 4 layers:

L1 signal +GND

L2 GND

L3 Pwr

L4 Signal +GND

I have difficulties to find a solution on how to decrease this ESD in the Groung plane.

Hi Alexandre,

Thank you for your patience. I have a couple suggestions that may help.

1- The N.C. pins should be connected to GND

2- D1/D2 should be connected to any of the USB 2.0 pins of the USB Type-C connector (refer to data sheet below)

Good Morning,

I added the NC pins to GND. i don't have any improvement. I think I found my problem I have capacitive coupling failure with the bottom layer of my board and the ground plane of the ESD manipulation table.
