MAX3243E: case temperature information

Hi,

I can only find Ta in DS as below, could you please provide Tcase information?

    Hi Jim,

    We don't spec case temperature on our devices.

    We spec max ambient temperature. 

    We do spec ambient to junction and top of case to junction thermal impedances that can help provide details to help predict case temperature given a known power consumption. Essentially for this device the junction temperature should stay below 150C (its the max storage - which is going to be equal to or slightly less than max junction - so for this part its safer to assume 150C is the max junction) - you can measure the case temperature and with the power consumption you known you can use the thermal impedances to estimate a junction temperature.
