DS90UB960-Q1: Configuration difference for 933 and 935/953

Hello Expert,

Our customer planning to use DS90UB960 with DS90UB933 and 935/953.

Their expectation can use same register setting regardless of deserializer but I understood we need to change 960's setting for 933 and 935/953.
Then, I want to know about which register should be changed from 933 usecase to 935/953 usecase?
I think we need to change Rx mode but is there any other mandatory register?

Hi Kazuki,

If they use 933 with 960, they need to program the correct data type to registers 0x70 (RAW10 mode) or 0x71 (RAW12 mode). If they use an 8-bit data type in RAW10 mode, they would additionally need to program 0x7C to select either upper or lower 8-bit processing. You would not have to do this for the 935/953 because CSI-2 serializers would just forward the packet without special programming for the data type.
