DS90UB954-Q1: The strap configuration mode select change regarding to datasheet revision

Hi team,

My customer found in the old revision 954 datasheet, in the strap configuration mode select part, COAX/STP is set by hardware. They use the below configuration marked in red.

But in our latest datasheet, this description is replaced with clock mode. What is the impact of this change? Does customer need to change their design in hardware or software? Please help to confirm this.
