My customer was using DS90UB940-Q1 +DS90UB929-Q1. .

There are I2C master MCU at both DS90UB940-Q1 and and DS90UB929-Q1.

When enable DS90UB940-Q1 reg 0x5 bit 7 I2C_PASS_THROUGH_ALL and see the video broken and snow screen,

However when disable the I2C_PASS_THROUGH_ALL the issue did not happen

If we want to enable the I2C_PASS_THROUGH_ALL if there any additional register setting we need to do on DS90UB929-Q1 or DS90UB940-Q1 ?

why enabling Pass through all? we normally recommend Pass through.

Hi Hamzeh,

Customer had implemented a function to scan the I2C address to detect what device are on the remote side.

So they select Pass through all setting.

There are no additional register or steps to be done, but do their MCU support multi-master arbitrations?
