TUSB3410: Application questions

Hi Expert,

UCstomer woudl to use TUSB3410 for design, but have some question as below:

if pull down VREGEN to GND, pull high RESET, and let SUSPEND floating, do you have any concern on that?

    Hi Mark,

    Below are the pin descriptions in the datasheet.

    VREGEN pulled to GND will enable the 1.8V regulator.
    RESET high will prevent the TUSB3410 from resetting
    SUSPEND is an output, so floating will disable that output

    Section 6.6 implies that VREGEN input tied low is no problem.  I don't see any issues with not using the SUSPEND output and leaving it floating.
