Hi,

customer is using 947-948 and see snow screen, can back to normal after reset 947 side.
they saw the AEQ values is always 2F, no matter it is in normal screen or snow screen.
based on that, here are some questions:
1. if power on/off display side, will the EQ value calculated again from 0?
2.for EQ value,  what's the right register in 948 to read? what is the maximum EQ value, do we have any information from register setting? do we think 2F is a normal value if the cable is short, or it should be 0 or 1?
3. could you please help to review their power sequence for 947+948?

    Hello, 

    Can you share the register you read 0x2F from? AEQ values cannot be read from the serializer side.

    Yes the EQ value will restart from 0, therefore the constant value of 0x2F does not make sense. 

    On the 948, register 0x3B contains the AEQ status. Can you provide a reg dump of both the 947 and 948 settings?
