Hi,

We can see the difference between SN75LBC180 and SN65LBC180 on D/S as follows,

(only about Differential output voltage magnitude)

Can we consider SN65LBC180 will be the same minimum value of Differential output voltage magnitude of SN75LBC180

if we use SN65LBC180 under the temperature condition 0 to 70 degree C?

(According to the Figure 6-4on D/S, it will be correct, I think.)

    The 55/65/75 indicates the temperature range. At the more extreme temperatures, the electrical characteristics change.

    As far as I know, all these devices use the same die. However, there is no guarantee.

    Hi Go,

    So the difference is due to being characterized at different temperatures - as Clemens mentioned.

    While using the SN65 at the SN75 temperature range (0C to 70C) should produce similar results, but there is no guarantee as what we guarantee is the in the datasheet.
