TCA9555: Max. junction temperature?

Hi,

   I find TCA9555 Tj max. is 100C only on data sheet. Is this true? Normally Tj is 125C, why is this part 100C max.?

   It seems our TJ less than competitior's.

    Hi Alan,

    The max junction temperature Tj(max) is 100C for the TCA9555 and cannot be changed. This is probably due to the way the device was designed. 

    We do have other I2C IO expander options that can supports 125C/130C. 

    TCAL6416 is an 16-bit IO expander offering Agile I/O's as well as a maximum junction temperature of 130C.
