DP83869HM: How user establish link up with new silicon version

Part Number: DP83869HM

Hello,

I saw following thread. Then I have following three questions.
https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/1212362/dp83869hm-any-errata-or-issues-to-be-taken-care-of/4575804?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=DP83869#4575804

Q1. If user use DP83869HM with new revision (Add 0x3F is 0xA0F3"), customer do not need to check and apply following application note right ?
https://www.ti.com/jp/lit/an/snla305/snla305.pdf

Q2. If user use DP83869HM with new revision (Add 0x3F is 0xA0F3") and "RGMII to 1000Base-X" mode, do user only perform following procedure to confirm link up for DP83869HM ?
* Datasheet "9.4.8.2 RGMII-to-1000Base-X Mode"

• Write 0x0041 to register 1DFh // Set Operation Mode to RGMII to 1000Base-X
• Write 0x1140 to register C00h // Reset FX_CTRL
• Write 0x4000 to register 1Fh// Software Reset

Q3. Is there any way to confirm new revision without checking above register ? Currently, I think that only way to confirm revison of device is user need to implement device on their custom board and after that checking register. If there is way which user do not need to implement on their custom board, I would like to know that way.
(For example, TI can track from lot trace code whether device is new silicon version or not.)

Thanks in advance,
Machida / TED
