TUSB1142: PCB layout for TUSB1142 and TUSB9261

Part Number: TUSB1142
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB9261, , TUSB542

Hello,

Q1. Is there any limitation or recommendation of signal trace length of USB input side and SATA output side on TUSB9261?

Q2. In our project, distance between USB connector and SATA connector is about 12cm.

   USB3.0 Type-C connector <=5Gbps => TUSB1142 <=5Gbps => TUSB9261 <=3Gbps => SATA connector

Generally thinking, lower data-rate side which is SATA output could accept longer trace.
But TUSB1142 has Re-driver function, then even higher data-rate USB3.0 trace can be longer too.
Which pattern length should be the longest in this signal chain to keep the best signal integrity?
I expect, in between TUSB1142 and TUSB9261 could accept the longest PCB trace. Is this right idea?
