TUSB8042: firmware update for USB downstream recognition of TUSB8042

Hi team,

This is for Samsung Monitor TUSB8042 we designed in 20Yr.

 

I believe TUSB8042 firmware should be updated via Microsoft Window.

But customer Samsung monitor asked “is there any firmware update for USB downstream recognition of TUSB8042?”. Because there are some issue on down stream in the market field.

 

 

  1. Do we have any updated firmware?
  2. It should be supported from TI? Not microsoft Window?
