TCA9548A: I2C 8ch output at the same time

Hi,

I'm under considering to make 20pcs temperature aging(HTOL) board by using I2C control...

By using TCA9548A, I'd like to check again on whether TCA9548A can do 8ch I2C outputs at the same time when there is one mater I2C or not.

If yes, 3cps TCA9548A can be connected with dirrend IC address HW setting or same setting since it's aiming for HTOL with same input signal.

If not, help to get any advice on a possible solution to do it

The TCA9548A can enable all channels at the same time.

But if there are other I²C devices with the same address on multiple enabled channels, then you will not be able to communicate with them. To access such devices, you have to enable and use each channel one by one.

Clemens is correct. Are your I2C device addresses different?

Why use an 8-channel switch if you are going to have all of the channels active simultaneously?
