Hello team,

 

I ask some questions about the CAN_DR and FD_DR settings in the SW_CONFIG_1 register of TCAN1145-Q1. Would you please answer the following?

 

-. If the configured CAN DR is different from the data rate of the received WUF, is it recognized as a normal WUF or an error?

-. If the network is used as CAN FD 1Mbps (and arbitration is same as 1Mbps), how should CAN_DR and FD_DR be set to? CAN_DR=? FD_DR=?

    Sam,

    Thanks for bringing this to E2E.

    1) If the configured data rate is different from the received WUF data rate, it will not be recognized and cause an error.

    2) CAN_DR should be set to 1Mbps, 111 in the bit field. FD_DR should be set to <=4x CAN data rate, 000 in the bit field.
