May I know does TI have any IC's like this which can be used to increase the range of MIPI CSI interface.

Hi Hari,

Can you clarify if you are looking for a SERDES device to increase the range, or would a signal conditioning device work for your application?

There are a couple categories of MIPI ICs listed here. Would one of these fit your application?

Thank you very much for your time

As per my knowledge MIPI CSI maximum distance is 30cm.

I need to use MIPI CSI for an application in which camera is placed far away (almost 1meter ).

I am searching for an IC which can extend the range of MIPI CSI.

I found one such IC as I mentioned in the previous post.

If TI have any such solutions,I prefer TI parts only.

Hi Hari,

Thanks for asking if we have a suitable device. We have some general purpose SERDES devices, but I am not aware of any specifically designed for MIPI. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any TI device that would be a good "drop in" replacement for the IC you mentioned in your original post.

I was doing some additional research into TI's SERDES devices and it looks like our FPD-Link group has devices similar to what you are looking for. Apologies for not locating this sooner. Hello Hari,

As Drew said, we do have a variety of SER/DES devices with different input/output bandwidth.

An equivalent Automotive certified dual DES to the one you provided would be the DS90UB954. This Deserializers can be paired with any ADAS SER from our portfolio, for example the DS90UB953.

If you are not looking for Automotive devices, then you may use the TSER954 and TSER953.
