TUSB8041: Nvidia project: USB controller-UPD720201 can't recognize USB hub-TUSB8041RGCR issue

hello all:

Now we have a case of the Nvidia ARM platform and encountered a situation where the USB hub- TUSB8041RGCR can't be recognized.

We have used AMD's Platform to test this part and found that the function of the hub is pass and ok.

Is there a problem with the compatibility of the ARM platform with TI chips or does the USB hub has its own controller AVL to match?

Does anyone have some insights on why, the USB hub is not detected?

Hi,

Is USB2.0 being recognized by the Nvidia ARM platform?

Looking at the schematic, are SMBUSZ_SS_SUSPEND, USB_HUB_SDA, and USB_HUB_SCL floating?

Can you also probe the 24Mhz crystal clock to the TUSB8041 and see if there is a valid clock?

dear sir:

This issue has been resolved by hardware rework, it is not a USB controller or USB hub issue.

The reset signal of the USB hub is abnormal, causing the end device not to reset after the voltage is stable.

After the correction, it can be recognized normally.
