DS90UB926Q-Q1: How can I know those statue happen and indicate which register in 926 for customer debug?

Hi team,

As the title.

This is used at HUD application case. How can we know below situations happen which register will be indicated in 926?

1.HUD LVDS General Electrical Failures Circuit short to GND.

2.Driver Information Screen module(DIS) LVDS General Electrical Failures Circuit open.

3.Driver Infromation Screen module(DIS) LVDS Bus Signal / Message Failures Erratic.

4.HUD Component Failures Component Internal Failure.

    Hi Jimmy,

    For Serial Link Fault Detect. The 926 serial link fault detection is able to detect any of following 7 conditions:
    1. cable open
    2. + to - short
    3. + short to GND
    4. - short to GND
    5. + short to battery
    6. - short to battery
    7. Cable is linked incorrectly

    If any one of the fault conditions occurs, The Link Detect Status is 0 (cable is not detected) on the Serial Control Bus Register bit 0 of address 0x1C.

    The link errors can be monitored though Link Error Count of the Serial Control Bus Register bit [4:0] of address 0x41.
