DP83826I: pin 31 CLKOUT

It is likely that we will use pin 31 as CLKOUT (25MHz reference clock output). That means PHY at ENHANCED mode. Is that ok? I am looking at DP83826 or DP83825 vs. KSZ8081RNA

Hi Andreas,

For p2p compatibility of DP83826 (DP83825 is not compatible) with KSZ8081, PHY can only be used in Basic mode. In Basic mode, Pin 31 is LED1 and not CLKOUT.

To have CLKOUT on pin 31, DP83826 should be used in enhanced mode.
