Hi,

I am working on serializer and deserializer interface.

I am getting flicker output on the 12" LCD which i am trying to drive.

Please let me know what settings can cause this on the LCD.

Hi Anurag,

Can you provide register dumps in working and after flicker condition?

Do you already have MAP tool results as well to quantify the link margin and stability?

Can you please elaborate what do you mean by MAP tool result ?

Also is there any document i can refer on how to use pattern generator in Analog Launch PAD to get desired edid file for the display ?

Hi Anurag,

This is integrated into the Analog LaunchPad, which would need attached locally to the deserializer. See more information here: MAP Tool User Guide

You will need to parse the EDID to extract the underlying video timing required. These can be placed directly into the PatGen tab in Analog Launch Pad. For more general information here.
