Hi
what could be the reason of error in 0x5C register?
I see in data sheet that this register counts the number of CSI-2 packets received with errors.
How can i solved this issue?
It is not appear on all the cameras we tested..
Thank you

Hello Itay,
I would like to request the following additional information.
What are the values of registers CSI_ERR_STATUS (0x5D) and CSI_ECC (0x64)?
Is the same cable being used across the good and bad cameras?
Additionally, can you run the MAP tool on a good camera and a bad camera?
Best,
Zoe
Hi
I checking with our manufacturer, they saw it in the production.
That error is random and not on the same camera.
The error appear after high and low temperature tests..
Im waiting for answer about 0x5D and 0x64.
Thank you
Hello Itay,
Please let me know when you receive more information.
Best,
Zoe
Hi Itay,
Monday, May 29th is a US public holiday, we will resume activity on this thread beginning Tuesday. Thanks for your patience.

Hello Itay,
Thank you for sharing.
Register 0x5D is as expected however, 0x64 should be 0x00 during proper operation. The register corresponds to CSI_ECC as pictured here:
Would you be able to try MAP tool on the imagers once more? If not, can the registers for BCC_CRC_ERROR, LOCK_STS_CHG, BCC_SEQ_ERROR, PARITY_ERROR, and FPD3_ENCODING_ERROR be monitored on the DS90UB954? These are reported in registers 0x4D and 0x4E.
Best,
Zoe
Hello Itay,
Thank you for the information.
In your initialization script, I suggest reading the CRC error register 0x5C. Errors can be received by the device depending on the start time of the camera in comparison to the device however, this does not reflect errors during operation. By reading the register at the end of initialization, the error count register will be cleared. If the error counts are seen increasing during operation, the register 0x5D will provide guidance on what the root cause is.
Please let me know if this is already being done or if there are any continued issues.
Best,
Zoe
