We do not have a Failure Mode Distribution available for the 638.

What is the difference between this FIT rate on TI quality site and the FIT rate in the <FIT Rate and Failure Mode Distribution> document?

Because i found the FIT rate on TI quality site is 1.3 FIT for DS90UB948, meanwhile the FIT rate in <FIT Rate and Failure Mode Distribution> document is 53 FIT.

Hi Xianti,

The TI.com website uses the JESD85 methodology to calculate the FIT rate. There are several standards used to calculate FIT, so if you are looking for a different FIT standard for the 638 let me know and we may be able to provide it for you.
