Hello team,
I received a question from the customer. In Table 6-1, isn't PU a typo and correctly PD? The customer confirmed on the actual device that the default was 0. This is also in conflict with Tables 9-11.

Regards,
Masa

Hi Masa,
Sorry for the confusion, RX_D0 should be PD. We will fix this on our next revision datasheet.

Hello Lin,
I see. Also, I have an additional question from the customer. Which is the correct in Figure 9-11 or Table 9-10 regarding to the logic for strap7?

Regards,
Masa
Hi Masa,
Hillman will be OoO for a little bit, but I work on the same team as him.
Please consult this FAQ on the corrected flowchart for DP83826 enhanced mode. We will be updating this in next revision of datasheet.
Sincerely,
Gerome
Hello Gerome,

As I drew the red line, it is correct as follows, as it is possible to use Repeater Mode when set to RX_DV while in RMII mode?

Regards,
Masa
Hi Masa,
This FAQ shows the corrected version of the image you have shared from the datasheet. This will be corrected in the next revision of the datasheet.
Thanks,
David
Hi David,
Does this mean that the red line will also be corrected to "This pin can be configured to CRS_DV in MII mode to enable RMII Repeater Mode"?
Regards,
Masa
Hi Masa,
That red line will not be corrected, no. In RMII mode, the default is CRS_DV, but it can be programmed as RX_DV to be used in RMII repeater mode.
Thanks,
David
Hi Masa,
Thank you for pointing this out. The flowchart will need to be updated. RX_DV is used in repeater mode, as stated in Table 9-10 and the pin section table.
Thanks,
David
